Pastor
Alesia Agee
Pastor
Alesia Agee, better known as “Sister Lisa,” is the First Lady
of Friendship Christian Church, where she assists Pastor Gerald
Agee with the vision to “Repair the Waste Cities.” Pastor Alesia
has a powerful teaching ministry that has helped many to develop
and grow in Christ. God uses her as a psalmist through the ministry
of song by which the anointing soothes, calms and brings deliverance
to those who receive.
Although
Pastor Alesia was introduced to God at an early age, she did not
receive Christ and the infilling of the Holy Spirit until she
was a young adult at the Oakland Christian Center. It was there
that she realized God was calling her to the five-fold ministry.
Under the leading of the Holy Spirit, she attended Rhema Bible
College in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she graduated with honors in
May 1993. In July 1993, she and Pastor Gerald Agee were united
in marriage and now have two beautiful children, Marquis and Omega
Agee.
Sister
Agee has a heart for women who have been abused and are suffering
from drug addiction and homelessness. Because of this, she helped
implement the Abigail House for Women under Phase III Christian
Services, which assisted over five hundred women and children
over a six-year period. Under the direction of the Holy Spirit,
the Woman’s Ministry was born at Friendship at the ministry's
inception. The Holy Spirit in prayer gave her the blue print of
the Virtuous Jewels of Excellence Women Ministry. Every woman
who comes through the door of Friendship is God’s special and
unique jewel who--like any other jewel--must stand through the
fire, be polished and shaped in order to bring out every facet
of beauty within them. In 2005, the Virtuous Jewels of Ministry
launched its first product of many, which is a beautiful gold
frame artwork of the poem that Holy Spirit has given Pastor Alesia,
to remind women that they are God’s beautiful gem.
Pastor
Alesia, a woman of true courage and integrity, has inspired many
women from all backgrounds and cultures to become the virtuous
jewels of excellence that God has called them to be.
