Pastor Gerald Agee
Pastor Agee has received both his bachelor and Master Degree in Religious Studies from Friends International Bible School. He is currently in the process of completing the requirements for a doctorate degree. Prior to becoming a pastor in 1990, Pastor Agee started Phase III Christian Services, Inc. Phase III is a drug and alcohol recovery treatment program for men, which continues to thrive in West Oakland. Phase III continues to educate residents regarding drug abuse as well as assist them in becoming productive citizens in the community through community activism and participation. Pastor Gerald Agee has faithfully and diligently worked in the West Oakland community to help fight against crime, poverty and homelessness. He carries a burden for those suffering with drug and alcohol addiction, and those who have been separated from their families because of their addiction. He also advocates and supports victims of domestic violence as well as those who face mental illness. Pastor Agee currently serves as II Vice-Chair of the Pastors’ of Oakland and on the Board of the East Bay Home-Ownership Alliance, which is a non-profit organization that strives to help individuals achieve home ownership. He also serves as advisor to several community and city organizations. He has received numerous awards and commendations from various organizations, including the Major of Oakland, Congress, and the Senate for the work he has done in the community. On June 26, 2008, Pastor Gerald Agee received his Doctorate of Divinity from Friends International Christian University. Affiliations

Pastor
Gerald Agee graduated from Rhema Bible College in Tulsa, Oklahoma,
where he graduated with honors in May 1993. In July 1993, he married
1st Lady Alesia Agee who also attended Rhema Bible College. While
attending Bible College, Pastor Agee received from God the vision
“And they Shall Repair The Waste Cities” from Isaiah 61:4 along
with the blueprint for Friendship Christian Center. In January
of 1994, Friendship Christian Center began in West Oakland with
approximately 25 members.
